Any diver, who has obtained the Enriched Air Specialty Certification by PADI (or an equivalent organisation), can participate in the Tec Gas Blender course. It contains three practical application sessions (no dives). The PADI TecRec Gas Blender course teaches you to blend nitrox and helium-blend gases using different blending procedures.
During your knowledge review, you will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of different blending methodologies and the potential hazards related to handling oxygen, and how to manage those risks. In your instructor-led review you will learn to blend enriched air and trimix blends and the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment, along with the requirements for oxygen service.
Course requirements:
- PADI Enriched Air Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 18 years
This fee covers your manual only. Additional fees apply for practical training, including dives, dive equipment, student slate, certification fee and logbook.
