The Rob Allen Dentex is a mean-looking, low-profile designed spearfishing knife. It has a point for stabbing, a blade for slicing and a serrated edge for cutting, with all angles covered. It is designed to be used for the big game in warm waters, so its bigger blade comes in handy on most levels.
The Dentex is a combination of strength and low profile, with a body hugging sheath, it gives zero resistance to your streamlined outline, so not snagging on anything like your float line or kelp.
Good care of this knife is recommended; you must remove it from its sheath after each dive, as seawater doesn't drain well. This is a small price to pay for one of the most streamlined knives on the market with a low-profile sheath.
